WHO IS OLUMUYIWA DAVID SAMUEL?

 



Olumuyiwa David Samuel was born on Monday, 20th May, 1974 in Lagos. While at age three, his mother took her to her grandmother in Akola village, Atakumosa West Local Government, Osun State due to fear of dead as proclaimed by the doctor while he will never live up to 10 years.. He got converted at age 10 (9th September, 1984) under the ministration of Pastor Komolafe of The Apostolic Church, Iwaro-Oke.

He was enrolled at  Iwaro-Oke Primary school between 1979 -1985. He was admitted into Junior Secondary School, (JSS) class one at Iwaro-Oke Junior Secondary School in 1985 and left in 1987 while in J.S.S. 2. He was brought to Abeokuta where he parents lived and in 1998 was enrolled into JSS 3 at Macjob Grammar School, Onikolobo, Abeokuta, Ogun State to further his education.  He finished his secondary school in 1992. While with his parents, he attended the family church – Christ Gospel Apostolic Church founded by late Apostle Paul Okedoyin.

In 1992, immediately after he finished writing West African Examination Certificate (WAEC), he was recommended by his commercial teacher, Mrs. Bolujo to study computer operations at Adelaf Computer Outfit in Abeokuta whose founder was Late Adewale Onifade, a senior lecturer at the then Ogun State Polytechnic now Moshood Abiola Polytechnic, Abeokuta. He learned computer operations with specialization in Microsoft Office packages, Ventura, Pagemaker, Database, Lotus 123, Instant Artist, CorelDraw, etc.  He completed his study in 1994 and was immediately employed as computer operator cum computer tutor same year. He rose the position of Manager and left in 1997 to start his own freelance business.

In 1995, he enrolled at Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN) for Accounting Technician Scheme (ATS) now ATWAS.  He graduated from the Institute in 1997.  His drive for education made him to enroll at Moshood Abiola Polytechnic, Ogun State, Nigeria in 1999 to study Accountancy at Higher National Diploma (HND) level.  He graduated from the school in 2023. 

Meanwhile, as a freelancer, he worked in Lagos, Ibadan and Abeokuta in different computer outfits and media companies as computer operator.  He co-founded Tim-Tom Computer Centre with Bro Tolu Olakonipekun a full time drama minister at Bata House, Itoko, Abeokuta, Ogun State. The computer outfit grew to become the biggest computer training centre in Ogun State with hundreds of students. He founded Brotherly Love Fellowship (Now Brotherly Love International Missionary Chaplain) in 1999 alongside with his three friends – Bro Tolu Olakonipekun, Bro Sesi Kusimo and Bro Wale Ayooluwa. The trio are now ministers of God in their various ministries.

His spiritual journey began with The Apostolic Church, Iwaro-Oke where he got converted.  When he moved with his family in Abeokuta, he attended Christ Gospel Apostolic Church and joined the choir.  He was also a committed member of the then Bible Fellowship where he rose to become the President as the tender age of 23.  He was directed to learn more about ministry under the pastorate of Rev. Tony Shoyemi of Glory Realm Assembly, Onikolobo, Abeokuta, Ogun State where he was ordained as a pastor on  Sunday, 12th June, 2005.

He got engaged with Oyenike Abolanle Ojerinde at Glory Realm Assembly during Christ for all Nations great crusade by late Reinhard Bonnke in January, 2022 and married on Saturday, 20th December, 2023 at St. Andrew Anglican Church, Ibara, Abeokuta, Ogun State. After his wedding, he followed heavenly direction for mission work on 21st December, 2023 alongside his newly wedded wife.  They both settled down at Church Bus Stop, Jankara, Ijaiye-Ojokoro, Lagos where they founded the first church named Chosen People Assembly. This mission work took both couple five years before they returned back to Abeokuta in 2008 to further the work. 

He earned Bachelor of Arts in Christian Education and Leadership from Perfection Christian University of Theology, Nigeria. He received Master degree in Christian Education and Counseling from Wisdom Bible University, South Africa. He was awarded honorary Doctorate Degree of Divinity from Indiana Christian University, Indianapolis, USA. He was awarded Professor of Christian Higher Education Administration and Management by International Institute of Christian Theologians, Scholars and Professionals and also Fellowship award as Certified Christian Scholar (FCCS).  He is an alumni of PlusAfri Institute of Digital Skills having being certified with Professional Diploma in Computer and Digital Skills.  He is a Certified Chaplain with professional certification from International School of Chaplaincy, Florida, USA.

Chaplain Prof. Olumuyiwa is the presiding Apostle, Chosen People Int’l Assembly, Nigeria and Chaplain Commander-General, International Fellowship of Christian Chaplains Incorporated (IFCCI).  He is the current CEO, PlusAfri Global Network and the current Global President-in-Council, International Institute of Christian Theologians, Scholars and Professionals (ICTSP). 

Prof. Olumuyiwa is a multi-talented minister of God who is known  for public speaking with specialization in Christian higher education administration and management. He is a highly sought-after consultant in  ministry computerizing, digitizing and commercializing of business ventures and Christian ministries.
